Aquatic Impressions will bring all equipment necessary to complete your fish tank and aquarium cleaning and maintenance services in your home or office.
Freshwater Aquarium Services Include:
- Cleaning of algae from aquarium glass/acrylic
- Cleaning of algae from gravel line
- Water change ( 25% in most cases)
- Addition of water conditioner (chlorine remover)
- Gravel vacuuming (removal of fish waste/food/detritus via siphoning)
- Cleaning of filter intake tubes, lids and impeller (motor)
- Testing of water (when necessary for troubleshooting algae problems, disease etc.)
- Cleaning/Bleaching of artificial plants, rocks and other décor
- Visual inspection of all equipment
- Visual inspection of overall aquarium/fish health
- Cleaning of aquarium lids and wipe down of aquarium furniture
- Cleaning of aquarium lighting
- Refilling of auto feeder and replacement of disposable filter media (fee sometimes applies)
- Consultation with customer about overall health of aquarium
Saltwater and Reef Aquarium Services Include:
- Cleaning of algae from aquarium glass/acrylic
- Cleaning of algae from gravel line
- Water change ( 25% in most cases) thorough mixing of synthetic sea salt to proper specific gravity
- Addition of water conditioner (chlorine remover)
- Gravel vacuuming (removal of fish waste/food/detritus via siphoning)
- Cleaning of filter intake tubes, lids and impeller (motor)
- Cleaning of salt creep and salt build up removal from protein skimmer , UV and other marine aquaria specific equipment
- Testing of specific gravity (salt level) and PH
- Testing of water (when necessary for troubleshooting algae problems, disease etc.)
- Cleaning/Bleaching of artificial plants, corals and other décor (fee sometimes applies)
- Visual inspection of all equipment
- Visual inspection of overall aquarium/fish health
- Cleaning of aquarium lids and wipe down of aquarium furniture
- Cleaning of aquarium lighting
- Refilling of auto feeder and replacement of disposable filter media (fee sometimes applies)
- Consultation w/ customer about overall health of aquarium
All we ask for is easy access to hot and cold H2O!
We choose and hand pick only high quality specimens and house them in “the fish room” for a quarantine period during which we observe their feeding behavior and treat them for any diseases that may become evident. Only then do we introduce them into your tank. This saves you time and money and reduces the risk of infecting your other fish and livestock.
Please call us at (410) 382-8068 for service rates. In most cases we can quote rates over the phone without coming to your home or office to save you time! Usually a quick text message with a photo or video of your aquarium is all we need. Service rates vary with each aquarium type and location but start at $85.00 for small freshwater aquariums. Sometimes if an aquarium needs extra work to get it back in shape additional fees apply.
